My free time is spent photographing scenery & wildlife, often chasing the sunrise or the sunset with my camera and hiking throughout the spaces I adore in a New England and beyond. In 2015, I became a beekeeper and soon found out I was deathly allergic to bees. In 2016, I became a certified scuba diver, later becoming an advanced certified scuba diver, and a drysuit diver. I witnessed my first dive accident in 2021 and it has changed me forever, making me practice more safety in my every day life. In 2017, I started rearing monarch butterflies en masse in my home, and gardening for native insects.  In 2020, I started lessons to fly single engine aircraft, with my most interesting lessons being on short field grass runways and at a beach. I have a bachelor's degree from Salem State University, majoring in environmental biology with a minors in both environmental geology and chemistry.  I have worked as a Park Ranger and a Conservation Biologist for the State of Massachusetts, a safety systems consultant and e-learning instructional designer.

I bought a small farm cottage in 2021 in the NH woods on the seacoast on 2 acres, and reside with my family.
